Thursday, March 27, 2008 New Refrigerator Shows Up

We spend the morning checking and cleaning. Deb washes one of the sun screens for the cockpit windows. It turns out the covers are not brownish-red like the dessert but white!

The dealer shows up with the new refrigerator. We get it into the RV and find we need to make the space bigger so the top will fit in. I do some fine woodwork using my Leatherman and a hammer. The refrigerator goes in on the third try.

The service guy shows up and gets every thing lined up and bolted down. He hooks up the gas and electric and we turn it on. After a few hours it gets cold! Life is good!

I spend some time empting the black tank and treating it with some enzyme stuff. The odor seems to be getting better and the level gauge finally goes below ¾ full.  I think the tanks have been setting for a long time and it will take a while to get them working properly and smelling better.

Deb cooks our first meal in the new motor home. Beef Stroganoff! It’s great!
