Sunday, April 27, 2008 Gallup, NM to Amarillo, TX

We leave the camp about 7:00 AM, determined to put some miles on. We have been enjoying messing around but we need to get back East some day. The longest drive so far was 242 miles from Huntington by the Sea, CA to Kingman, AZ.

Somewhere after Albuquerque, NM and close to Amarillo, TX, Debra hears the noise from that same left rear brake we thought we had fixed in Kingman, AZ.

We find the Fort Amarillo RV Park and pull in. We will try to find a place to have that brake checked on Monday morning.

Except for the brake noise, it was a good day, 413.4 miles, longest yet.
