Friday, May 09, 2008 Fuller State Park, Cracker Barrel, Cedars of Lebanon

We dump the tanks and I notice the left rear jack light is staying on. The jack is up so we head out. The light goes out as we drive. I will have to keep an eye on that jack. It is the same one that took three tries to get the light to go out after we fell of them at the tire place in Armadillo.

We are on the road about 8:00 AM. We stop at Cracker Barrel Restaurant for breakfast. Deb has never been to one, but our buddy Tim always eats there when he is on the road.

The food was good but it took almost an hour and a half for breakfast. Deb is not impressed.

We get to Cedars of Lebanon State Park about 4:00 PM. This is another beautiful place. We find a good spot and build a fire and have dinner. We get some rain showers but not the severe storms they where predicting. Debra also figures out how to just put the awning out part way, a good thing to know.

Bill and Debra - I found this post on Google. We are thinking about staying at T.O. Fuller State Park in a few weeks - would you recommend it? Any issues there?

Glad you found our blog. We would recommend TO Fuller State Park highly. We had no issues there.

It is a short drive to into Memphis and to the Rendezvous Restaurant, which you should try to visit if you haven't been there. They have incredible dry-rubbed ribs.

If you get a chance, go wander down Beale Street and check out some shops and catch a band playing in the park

TO Fuller is also near Elvis Presley Boulevard, so you check out Graceland and try some fried pickles at the Rock n’ Roll Café across the street.

We had a good time staying at T.O. Fuller and will stay there again if we are in the area.

      Have Fun
