Friday, October 31, 2008 Lunch in Asheville and a Bonfire at the Camp

We got on the road from Lexington Kentucky about 7:00 AM.

We stopped in Asheville, NC for lunch. My son Mark told us he really liked Asheville and we did too. We had lunch at the Bier Garden, it’s a brew pub with some good food.

We also took Scupper to visit the Three Dog Bakery. ( https://www.threedog.com/ ) Scupper found a lot of stuff he liked and we got him some liver biscotti treats that we can not find anywhere.

It was a beautiful drive through the Smoky Mountains on the way home. The only bummer was the rock from a truck that put a ding in the Jeep’s windshield.

We got to our camp at Magnolia RV about 3:00 PM. Everything was just how we left it. We turned the water and propane back on. Then we put our new South Dakota Tags on the RV. The RV Park had a bonfire. We thought it was to welcome us home, but it turns out it is Halloween.
