Thursday, February 26, 2009 Hole Punch to The Head and a Ball in The Tree
Today was the second day in a row for the doctor’s office in Laurens. Yesterday the doc sliced something off my arm and today they took a hole punch to Debra’s head. At least that’s how the doc described the tool he was using on Debra. It just cuts a little circular piece of tissue from the area with out leaving a big scar. They are still trying to catch up with all the new parts we can grow after all those years spent in the sun on boats.
When we got back, I put the laundry in and finished up painting the LP gas tank. It had started showing some small rust spots and we want it to look its best when they put the new fill valve in. We have high hopes for the Suburban gas place in Greenville. Gerald, the service wizard there, thinks he has the part…, he’s checking. When I gave him our phone number to call us back, he recognized the Maryland area code. Turns out he is from Pasadena, Maryland. Maybe we will get a “homeboy” deal.

After I put away the tools, I was throwing the ball for Scupper when it got stuck in a tree. I managed to also get two pieces of fire wood stuck in the tree trying to knock the ball loose. As the laughing crowd gathered, Debra got some pictures and the owner of the camp saved the day with his “extendable” trimming tool.
