Saturday, May 02, 2009 Filling Tanks and Booh Bay Harbor

This the morning we took the RV out and filled the propane and gas tanks. The temperatures at night have been in the lower 30s to 40 so the furnace is running and we where below a quarter of a tank of gasoline. When we are below a quarter of a tank of gas the generator will not come on if we should need it. We where also thinking the price of fuel will probably go up during the summer so we should fill up while its only $2.02.

We are taking the rest of the day off and going exploring. We filled up the Jeep and are going to see what Booth Bay Harbor is like. It’s about a 50 mile drive and takes about an hour.

It’s a nice little place. It looks a little like “the murder capitol of the world” Cabot Cove on TV.

It is early enough that the tourist season has not started so there where places to park. Many of the shops where not open yet but we found a place called McSeagulls and had a nice lunch and watched the pre-Kentucky Derby coverage on the TV in the bar.

If you want to look around at Booh Bay Harbor here is a web cam you can control:
